James Beaudoin

Mr. James Beaudoin will be honored in a mass of Christian burial held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, the 5th of May 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Natchitoches with Father John O’Brien to serve as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Cloutierville. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, the 4th of May 2012 at Blanchard- St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Mr. Beaudoin, age 87 and native of Cloutierville, passed away on Saturday, the 28th of April 2012 in his home in Natchitoches. He was born on the 17th of March 1925 to the late McKinley and Maria Beaudoin. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946 in the Philippines and later served in the Merchant Marines. He was owner and operator of his own auto repair shop for a majority of his life. On the 16th of August 1947 he married the love of his life, Mrs. Emelda Rose Beaudoin. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. James is survived by his wife of 64 years Emelda R. Beaudoin; his sisters, Virginia Gerst and Grace McCullum; his sons, Renaud Beaudoin and Kenneth Beaudoin; his grandchildren, Brandon Beaudoin, Christian Beaudoin, Mignonne Beaudoin Morrell; his great grandchildren, Maximillion Morrell, Dysen, Morrell, Keira Beaudoin and Vivian Beaudoin. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are, Brandon Beaudoin, Kenneth Beaudoin, Renaud Beaudoin, Chad Couty, Ernest Couty, and Edmond Gautier. In lieu of floral contributions, Mr. Beaudoin’s family requests that memorial donations be sent to: St. John the Baptist Church in Cloutierville and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Natchitoches.
