Jeffery Lynn Heard

Funeral Services for Jeffery Heard will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the 9th of May 2012 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with Father John O’Brien to serve as celebrant. Burial will follow in Memory Lawn Cemetery. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, the 8th of May 2012 at Blanchard-St. Denis in Natchitoches. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Jeffery, age 41 of Natchitoches, passed away on Sunday, the 6th of May 2012. He was born on the 23rd of December 1970 to Kenneth and Penny Heard in Natchitoches. He was the owner of the Jeff Heard Complete Lawn Care. He was a loving father and son and friend to all. He is survived by his children, Austin and Grant Heard of Sulphur and Ethan Heard of Natchitoches; his parents, Kenneth Ray Heard, Sr. and Penny Louise Heard of Natchitoches; his brother, Kenneth Ray Heard, Jr. and wife Leslie of Natchitoches his maternal grandmother, Selma Shivers; special friend, B. A. Cohen; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Earl Shivers; and his paternal grandparents, Ollie and Alice Heard. In lieu of floral contributions, the family request that donations in Jeffery’s name be made to the Holy Cross Catholic Church on 2nd Street in Natchitoches.
