Funeral services for Frankie Dale Cutright, 62, will be held at Blanchard St Denis Funeral Home, Sept. 27, 2007 at 10:00 am with the Rev. Don Blackmon officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
He passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007 at his home, surrounded by his family and friends.
Frankie was a retired police Sergeant at Northwestern State University for 23 years until he lost his eyesight. He attended the LA Center for the Blind in Ruston, LA and operated a blind vending and concessions stand at the LA Technical College, Natchitoches Campus, for 10 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carving, and spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 31 years, Teresa Phillips Cutright; daughter Andria Lea Coutee and partner Pat O’Bannon; three grandchildren, Dacoda Lane Coutee, Taylor Renae Coutee, and Brooklyn Lea O’Bannon; brother, JB Cutright and wife Bettie of Abilene, TX; sister, Jackie Palmer and husband Leroy of San Angelo, TX; uncles, Boyd B. Durr and wife “Sis” of Natchitoches, LA, and Rev. Bobby Durr and wife Virginia of Ajax, LA; and many close family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Elliot Lane Cutright; mother, Ludie Bell Cutright, and father, Jackson Blanchard Cutright.
Arrangements are under the directions of Blanchard St Denis Funeral Home. Interment will be in Ajax Cemetery, Ajax, LA.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Hospice of Natchitoches for the loving care that they received, Dr. Otis Barnum, Susan Massia, R.N., and Meg Fitzhugh, A.P.R.N. and their staff.
