Funeral service for James R. White will be held 4 PM Thursday, September 27, 2007 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Harold Imoshua officiating. Burial will be in Clouterville Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM and on Thursday, September 27, 2007 from 8 AM until 3:30 PM in the funeral home. Mr. White, 65, of Cloutierville, La., died Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. He was a native and lifelong resident of Cloutierville, La. He was a retired lineman for Valley Electric Membership Corporation. He was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James White and Ruby Vercher White; brother-in-law, Joe Scarbrock. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Violet Funderburk White of Cloutierville, La.; one daughter, Scarlet White of Cloutierville, La.; one son, Mark White and wife Connie of Natchitoches, La.; two grandchildren, Megan White and Cady White; two sisters, Betty Scarbrock of Alexandria, La. and Sonjie Ebarb and husband Bernis of Shreveport, La.; one brother, Kenny White and wife Polly of Ball, La. Pallbearers will be Patrick Churchman, Mike Rachal, Pete Jones, Melvin D. Martin, Ricky LaCaze, and Dewayne Thompson.
