Funeral service for Eleanor Jane Ingram will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Jason Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm on May 19, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Eleanor Ingram, 77 years of age, passed away May 18, 2012. Eleanor was born April 29, 1935 to the late Dewey L Hennigan and Hattie Maines Hennigan in Natchitoches, LA. "Mimi", as she was known, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a wonderful caregiver and would always help anyone in need. She was a kind and compassionate lady, she never met a stranger, and she loved to visit. She was a sweet, loving, giving, thoughtful, and strong woman of virtue, and will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. She is survived by a son, William Joseph Ingram "Joe Bill" and wife, Melinda Ingram; daughter, Synthia Jane Ingram Jenkins and husband, Johnny Jenkins; granddaughters, Jennifer Lynn Jenkins Comeaux and husband Chris; Melissa Jene' Ingram Jones and husband Mike; Traci Elizabeth Ingram Wood and husband Jason; grandsons, Johnny Dararl Jenkins "Buzz" and wife Hollie Hodge, Joshua Adam Jenkins and wife Amanda Cryer; great grandchildren; Jonathan Edward Comeaux, Carson William Comeaux, Andrew Connor Jenkins, Brooklyn Alayna Jenkins, and Carleigh Elizabeth Jones; and three brothers, Dr. Thomas "Red" Hennigan and wife Gloria, Leonard Wayne Hennigan and wife Lottie, Randall "Fuzzy" Hennigan and wife Shirley; and one sister-in-law, Rose Ann Hennigan, wife of Raymond. Preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Hennigan and Hattie Elizabeth Maines Hennigan; husband, William Joseph "Billy" Ingram; daughter, Suzanne Ingram; granddaughter, Joly Elizabeth Jenkins; brother, Raymond Hennigan; nieces, Joleen Hennigan and Rhonda Hennigan. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Buzz Jenkins, Josh Jenkins, Chris Comeaux, Mike Jones, Rob Jordan, and Richard Hennigan.
