Annie B. Salard

A service to honor the life of Annie (Brossette) Salard will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Kenneth Obiekwe officiating. Interment will follow at Rachal Cemetery in Marco, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm - 10 pm on May 22, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7 pm during the visitation. Annie Salard, 84 years of age, passed away May 20, 2012. She was born January 3, 1928 to the late Angles and late Lelia Brossette in Marco, LA. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Homer Salard; parents, Angles and Lelia Brossette; granddaughter, Brandie Poche’; and great grandson, Chance Coffman. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Glenda Salard and Marlyn Salard and her husband David; her sons, Gerald Salard and his wife Carol and Rodney Salard and his wife Delinda; grandchildren, Stacey Coffman, Eric Coffman, Angie Solomon, Kristie Berry, Gerald Salard, Jr., Jared Salard, Nikki Lemoine, Brittani Salard, Blaise Salard and Skylar Spillers; one brother, Marion "Dickie" Brossette and wife Jean; and one sister, Bernice Pardee. She was blessed with 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
