Funeral services to honor the life of Linda Bass, will be held on Wednesday the 6th of June 2012 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Natchitoches with Reverend Tommy Rush to serve as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. Friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches.
Mrs. Linda, age 60, passed away Saturday, the 2nd of June 2012 in her home surrounded by her children. Linda retired from the Natchitoches Parish School board, teaching children at the Pre-School Center and later at the M.R. Weaver Elementary school. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Natchitoches.
She is predeceased by her husband William “Bill” Bass.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Kristi Natalino and husband Michael of Southern Pines, North Carolina and Scott Bass and wife Christine of New Orleans; her parents, Kenneth and Jessie Ruth Bray of Lexington, Oklahoma; and host of close friends.
Those honored to served as pallbearers will be Scott Bass, David Antilley, Bobby Dale Armour, David Kees, Sr., Warren Massia and Frank Bryant.
Honorary pallbearers will be Davey Antilley II, Ronnie Waites, Gary Giddons, Ace Harley, Mike Natalino, Hurst Hall, Bill Ebarb, Eddie White, Mike McGrath, Mike Murphy and Luther “Buddy” Lott, Jr.
