A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Kennedy will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville, LA. Interment will follow at Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time at the church on Saturday, June 9th. Mary Kennedy, 84 years of age, passed away June 7, 2012 in Bossier City, LA. She was born September 19, 1927 to Christopher Rachal, Sr. and Florentine Rachal in Cloutierville, LA. She was a very caring and compassionate lady and that was best demonstrated by being the house mother at the Masonic Children’s Home in Alexandria for many years. She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Roberts of Haughton, LA; sons, Harold Kennedy Jr. and his wife Cecile of Ocala, Fl. and Mark Kennedy of Cloutierville, LA; and a granddaughter, Tori Roberts of Alexandria, LA. She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Rachal, Jr.; a grandson, Christopher Kennedy; and her parents Christopher Rachal, Sr. and Florentine Rachal..
