Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Mary Young Waters will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, the 14th of June 2012 in the chapel at Blanchard-St Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with Reverend Donnell Spurgeon to serve as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, the 13th of June 2012 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Waters, age 81, passed away on the Sunday, the 10th of June 2012 in Bossier City. She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Natchitoches. She is preceded in death by her husband James L. Waters; her parents, James Owen and Minnie Rachal Young; sons, Abron L. Waters and Herbert Gene Waters. She is survived by her daughter in law, Janine Rachal Waters of Campti, La.; two grand daughters, Alison Renee' Waters of Campti, La. and Layna Waters Jones and husband Eugene of Saline, La.; five great grandchildren, Chelsea Ryder, Kristen Ryder, Skylar Ryder, Tyler Ryder, and Casey Jones; two step great grandchildren, Eddie Jones and Bradley Jones; great great grandchild, Alixsondra Grace Hannegan; her brothers, Jim Young and wife Val of New York and LeRoy Young and wife Inez of Winnfield, La.; her sisters, Marie Smiley of Winnfield, La. and Jean Kimpel of New York.
