Funeral service for Ruby Brazzel Harrison will be held 2 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2007 in Robeline First Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Haymon and Rev. Glenn Flenniken officiating. Burial will be in Central Cemetery at Robeline, LA under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, LA. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Wednesday, October 10 from 8 AM until 12 Noon in the funeral home and from 1 PM until service time in the church. Mrs. Harrrison, 88, of Robeline, LA., died Sunday, October 7, 2007, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. She was a native of Provencal, LA. She was a librarian and homemaker. She was a member of Robeline, First Baptist Church and was a former church secretary. She was a former member of the Robeline Town Council and the Robeline Water Board. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otho Otto Harrison; parents, Joe Brazzel and Annie Norsworthy Brazzel. She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Gardner and husband Delman of Shreveport, LA, Wanda Hicks and husband James of Greenwood, LA, and Cora Moore and husband Robert of Bossier City, LA; nine grandchildren, Kevin Gardner and wife Penny of Shreveport, LA, Sonja Meller and husband Roland of Atoka, OK, Dwight Gardner of Austin, TX, Roger Elliott and wife Regina of Jacksonville, TX, Jeffery Elliott and wife Paula of Savannah, GA, Thomas Walker and wife Margaret of Shreveport, LA, Spec. Michael Walker, and wife Patricia of Fort Hood, TX, Christopher Walker and wife Jennifer of Bossier City, LA, and Rance Moore of Bossier City, LA; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe P. Brazzel of Bossier City, LA. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
