Wilson "Badeaux" Joseph Coutee, Sr.

Funeral services for Wilson Joseph Coutee, Sr. will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville, LA with Rev. Kenneth Obiekwe officiating. Interment will follow at Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery in Cloutierville, LA. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on July 7, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville, LA. Wilson “Badeaux” Coutee, Sr., 88 years of age, passed away July 5, 2012. He was born April 28, 1924 to the late Jean Coutee and Edna Monnette Coutee in Cloutierville, LA. "Badeaux" was a honest, hardworking man. He was a great father to his children and husband to his wife. He was a caring man, but lived just as hard as he worked. He was a devoted member to St. Augustine Catholic Church, where he was also a member of the Holy Name Society. He was loved dearly by his wife, his children, and everyone he came in contact with. "Badeaux" had a larger than life personality, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty Gonzaque Coutee of Natchez, LA; one daughter, Connie Coutee of Natchez, LA; two sons, Wilson Joseph Coutee, Jr. of Chicago, IL and John Alex Coutee of Carrollton, TX; four sisters, Agnes Carpenter of Shreveport, LA, Rosa Mae Bayonne of Cloutierville, LA, Annie Mae Coutee of Alexandria, LA and Mary Culbert of Alexandria, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean Coutee and Edna Coutee; one brother, Jimmy Coutee; and one granddaughter, Sidra Nicole Coutee. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
