Graveside services for Burgess Oliver Barnett, Jr. will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 16, 2012 at St. Maurice Cemetery in St. Maurice, LA with interment following the service. The family will receive friends from 8:00 am until 9:15 am on July 16, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Burgess “Bob” Barnett, 57 years of age, passed away July 11, 2012. Bob was born January 31, 1955 to the late Burgess Oliver Barnett, Sr. and Irene LaBorde Barnett in Winnfield, LA. Bob was a kind and giving individual who would help anyone in need. He was always there for his family and friends when they needed help. He worked at City of Shreveport’s Data Processing Center for at least twenty years. Bob was a Master of Ceremonies at the Masonic Landmark Lodge # 214. He was a very caring man, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his sister, Pamela Barnett of Natchitoches, LA, and numerous cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
