Funeral service for Nora Lynn Davis Hassan will be held 2 PM Friday, October 19, 2007 in Midway Baptist Church near Converse, La. with Rev. William H. Hassan, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Congregational Methodist Cemetery at Ajax, La. Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 5 PM until service time Friday, October 19, 2007 in the church. Mrs. Hassan, 55, of Marthaville, La., died Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. She was a native of Marthaville, La. She was a devoted wife, mother, nanny, and a member of Midway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Jess Davis She is survived by her husband William Hammond Hassan, Jr. of Marthaville, La.; four sons, Thomas Boyd Hassan of Marthaville, La. Eric Jason Hassan and wife Lonna of Marthaville, La., Zachary William Hassan and wife Jennifer of Dallas, Ga., and Jeremiah Ross Hassan and wife Chasity of Marthaville, La.; eight grandchildren, Harley Hassan, Lauren Hassan, Caitlin Hassan, Hayden Hassan, Makenna Hassan, Tyler Hassan, Emily Hassan, and Alyssa Hassan; mother, Louise Davis of Marthaville, La.; three sisters, Rose LaCaze and husband Wayne of Marthaville, La.,Cricket Hutchison and husband John of Billings, Mt., and Karen Davis of Indianapolis, Ind.; three brothers, Stanley Davis and wife Carmen of Marthaville, La., Greg Davis of Coushatta, La., and Johnny Davis and wife Missy of Many, La. Pallbearers will be Thomas Hassan, Eric Hassan, Zachary Hassan, Jeremiah Hassan, Layne LaCaze, and Johnny Davis.
