I.V. "Buddy" Butler, Jr.

Graveside service for Buddy Butler, Jr. will be 3 pm Monday, August 13, 2012 at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. Buddy passed away August 11, 2012 in Alexandria, LA. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was a graduate of Northwestern State University and worked as an auditor for the LA Agriculture Department. He retired from the State with over 40 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Butler, daughter, Angela Henley; son, Jeffery Bryan Butler; mother, Beatrice Dixon; step children, Joseph Salard and his wife Ruthie, Joey Salard and his wife Kristi, and Pam Disante and her husband Trey; great aunt, Letha Lee Schlaf. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital of Alexandria and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center for the care they gave Buddy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, 411 2nd Street, Natchitoches, LA.
