A service to remember the life of Larry Breedlove will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, the 15th of August 2012 in the Chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with Rev. David Matlock to serve as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Mr. Breedlove, age 58, passed away on Sunday, the 12th of August 2012 in his home in Natchitoches. He was a native of Natchitoches and worked as a carpenter. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam era. He was a devoted brother and uncle always being there for his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jessie Leonard Breedlove; his mother, Lola Mae Dowden Garsee; his brother, Robert Clinton Breedlove, Jr.; his sister, Brenda Gale Breedlove.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Alice DeLacerda of Pineville, Clara Ezernack and husband Junior of Natchitoches, Tina Knueppel and husband Gene of Natchitoches, Joyce Washington (Leroy Jenkins) of Monroe, Peggy Morris of Baton Rouge; and host of numerous nieces nephews and friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Caleb Boyd, Lyndon Knueppel, Brandon Hernandez, Stan Hernandez, Ralph Dowden and Leroy Jenkins.
Honorary will be all of his nephews.
In lieu of floral contributions, donations in Larry’s name may be made to the Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery Fund.
