Funeral service for LaFaune Jenkins Dubois, also known as “Tom” to her close family and friends, will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Hickory Grove Congregational Methodist Church in Robeline, LA with Rev. Brian Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Robeline, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on August 19, 2012 at Hickory Grove Congregational Methodist Church in Robeline, LA.
LaFaune “Tom” Dubois, 60 years of age, passed away August 16, 2012. She was born March 5, 1952 to the late Harrison Jenkins and Maxie Jenkins in Natchitoches, LA. "Tom" graduated from Robeline High School in 1970. She was employed with Ryans Steakhouse in Bossier City for the past 16 years, until the time of her sickness. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
“Tom” leaves behind four children, Harrison and Delfin Mujica, both of Venezuela, Michael Jenkins, and Lee Dubois, III, both of Bossier City, LA; five grandchildren, Benjamin Mujica of Venezuela, Sierra Jenkins of Haughton, LA, Michael Jenkins, Jr., Michaela Jenkins, and Dominic Jenkins, all of Bossier City, LA; one great grandchild, Jaxson Lowery of Haughton, LA; five sisters, Marjo Jennings Daube and hubsna Dan of the Woodlands, TX, Judy Long of Maud, TX, Hannah LaCour and husband Dickey of Palmer, AR, Monita Olive and husband R.B. of Katy, TX, and Wafa Dean Manasco and husband Bobbie of Robeline, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison Jenkins and Maxie Jenkins; two brothers, Joe Jenkins and Charlie Jenkins; one sister, Dawnn Jordan; one niece, Rhonda Jo Jennnings; two nephews, Shelby C. Hutto and Richard Jennings; and one great nephew, Bryce Manasco.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Nickie Jordan Green, Senta Hutto, Chelsey Hutto, Chawna Hutto, Caleigh Hutto, and Maggie Jordan.
