Kathy Berry, age 59, passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, August 25, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Kathy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, monogramming, and spending time with her family especially watching her grandchildren play sports. She was a hard worker and held several jobs, but none was more special than providing a home for her family. Her church family was very special too; she loved and cherished the time spent with them. Kathy was a generous, kind and loving woman who will be missed but never forgotten by her family and friends.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 43 years, Joe Berry of Robeline; daughters, Lila Pardee and her husband Harold of Marthaville and Patty Weeks and her husband Michael of Marthaville; a son, Joey Berry and his wife Ashley of Robeline; her mother, Corene Welch Waters of Montgomery; grandchildren, Dylan Pardee, Hanna Pardee, Alaina Weeks, Taylor Berry, Gage Berry, and Morgan Berry; sisters, Teresa Trichell and her husband Andy of Montgomery, Emily Jo Davidson and her husband Ronnie Gene of Montgomery, Karen Sauce and her husband, Herby of Campti, and Janice Dubois and her husband Shannon of Montgomery; a brother, J.D. Waters, Jr. and his wife Susie of Montgomery; two nephews that she loved like her children, Wayne and Kevin Berry.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Waters, Sr.
The family would like to thank Dr. Knecht and his office, Hospice of Natchitoches, Causey’s Pharmacy, Robeline First Baptist, Family Farm and Garden, and all the people who visited, sent cards and letters during her illness.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Wayne Berry, Kevin Berry, Tony Roberts, Luke Davidson, Ricky Berry, and Roger Bailes, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Berry, Jr. and Joshua Berry.
