Funeral service for Walter Graham Howell will be held 4 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2007 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Scott Howell officiating. Burial will be in Lambertown Cemetery at Robeline, La. Visitation will be Monday, October 29, 2007 from 6 PM until 10 PM and on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Howell, 71, of Robeline, La., died Sunday, October 28, 2007, at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Ms. He was a native of Teaberry, N.C. He was a mechanic for Wilco Pipeline of Canton, Ms. He was a member Holly Grove Nazarene Church near Robeline, La. He was a veteran of U. S. Army He was preceded in death by his first wife, Molly Hamous Howell; son, Michael Graham Howell; one great-grandchild, Tristen Howell; parents, Roger Denton Howell and Bernice Virginia Jones Howell. He is survived by his wife, Lois Greer Howell of Robeline, La.; one daughter, Catherine Miller of Robeline, La.; two sons, Roy Howell and wife Kay of Ville Platte, La. and Danny Howell and wife Flora of Mamou, La; two step-daughters, Tyrha Hayes and husband Terry of Shreveport, La. and Frances McClanahan and husband Lloyd of Saline, La.; five sisters, Louise Osborne and husband James of Lansing, N.C, Gaye Blizzard and husband Stephen of Greensboro, N.C., Faye Blevins and husband Michael of Fleetwood, N.C., Ada Lynn Duncan and husband James of Millers Creek, N.C., Alta Sue Elledge and husband Steve of Reidsville, N.C.; two brothers, Rev. Kenneth Howell and wife Clarcy of Warrensville, N.C. and Bruce Howell and wife Kathy of Franklin, N.C.; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Marvin Powell, Joshua Howell, Reed Hamous, Juddy Hamous, Michael Roe, and Steve Blizzard.
