Graveside service for Casey Fleton Burge will be held 2 PM Saturday, November 10, 2007 in Mars Hill Cemetery at Verda, LA. with Mr. Don Reeves, a nephew, officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 9, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Saturday, November 10, 2007 from 8 AM until 1 PM in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, LA. Mr. Burge, 90, of Blossom, Texas, went home to be with The Lord, on Monday, November 5, 2007, at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas He was a native of Pine Burr, Mississippi. He was born February 19, 1917. He was a retired master mechanic and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Reeves Burge; two sisters; seven brothers; parents, Allen Burge and Mary Odom Burge. He is survived by two sons, Jerry Burge and wife Charlotte of Blossom, TX and Jeff Burge of Grand Prairie, TX; four grandchildren, Tony Burge and wife Karen of Mesquite, TX, Debra Shaw and husband Russ of Highland Ranch, CO, Casey Burge and wife Nichole of League City, TX and Michelle Gonzales of Arlington, TX; one great granddaughter, Taylor Burge of League City, TX; two sisters-in-law, Bertha Burge of Livingston, LA and Odessa Reeves of Monroe, LA; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Carrol D. Reeves, Jackie Reeves, Kenneth Reeves, Darrell Reeves, Jimmy Smith, and Russ Shaw. The family would like to thank the Legend Health Care Center, the doctors and nurses on the seventh floor at Paris Regional Medical Center for their outstanding care of Casey. God Bless You.
