Funeral service for Elouise M. Johnson will be held 2 PM Sunday, November 18, 2007 in Clarence Baptist Church with Rev. Harry Bamburg officiating. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery at Chestnut, LA. Visitation will be Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 5 PM until 10 PM and on Sunday, November 18, 2007 from 8 AM until 12 Noon in the funeral home and from 1 PM until service time in the church. Mrs. Johnson, 72, of Clarence, LA, died Friday, November 16, 2007, at Clarence, LA. She was a native of Chestnut, LA. She was a retired bus driver for Natchitoches Parish School Board and a member of Clarence Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Oscar Mathews and Ella Stewart Mathews. She is survived by two daughters, Sue Fredieu and husband Darrell and Jamie Alexander and husband Bubba all of Clarence, LA; one son, Wayne Ragan and wife Tina of Natchitoches, LA; six grandchildren, Joshua Fredieu and wife Kristi, Brett Fredieu, Alex Ragan, Kasey Ragan, Austin Alexander, Taylor Alexander Pallbearers will be Billy Rex Thomas, Charles Vascocu, Ronnie Vascocu, Robert Eugene Vascocu, George Grayson, and Danny Thomas. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, Shriners Children's Hospital in Shreveport, LA or to the charity of the donor's choice.
