Funeral service for Charles William 'Bill' Holmes will be held 1 PM Monday, December 17, 2007 in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Needham Tidwell officiating. Burial will be in Fern Park Cemetery at Natchitoches, LA. Visitation will be Monday, December 17, 2007 from 11 Am until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Holmes, 74, of Robeline, LA., died Thursday, December 13, 2007, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. He was a native of Natchitoches, LA. He was retired owner and operator of Holmes Radio and Television Shop. He was a member of Many, Church Of Christ. He was a veteran of Korean Conflict serving in the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Holmes; parents, Charles Hancel Holmes and Amelia Wire Holmes Aaron. He was survived by his wife of 41 years, Jackie Carter Holmes of Robeline, LA; sister, Mary Lou Eagles of Sun Valley, CA; sister-in-law, Faye Greenwood of Natchitoches, LA; two nieces and three nephews.
