Funeral services for Elizabeth M. Vercher will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, the 15th of October 2012 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with Father Ryan Humphries to officiate. Burial will follow in Emmanuel Cemetery in Chopin. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday morning in the funeral home. Mrs. Vercher, age 93, passed away on Friday, the 12th of October 2012 in Shreveport. She is preceded in death by her parents, Justine and Josephine Madine; her husband, Wesley Vercher; and her son, Robert Lee Vercher. She is survived by her children, John Leonard Vercher, Manuel Harry Vercher, Patricia Joyce Vercher, Susie Lynn Vercher, Judith Carol Revoir, and Walter Vercher; nine grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
