Funeral service for Lanny D. Cook will be held 3 PM Thursday, December 27, 2007 in Old Bellwood Baptist Church with Rev. Leland Briggs, Rev. Carroll Bushnell, and Rev. Betty Dew officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Cemetery at Bellwood, LA. Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 11AM until service time in the church. Mr. Cook, 62, of Bellwood, LA, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at Willis-Knighton Pierremont Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. He was a native of Bellwood, LA. He was a retired engineer for Dresser Industries in Alexandria, LA. He was a member of Provencal United Pentecostal Church. He was a veteran of The Louisiana National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Walter Cook and Ruby Ray Smith Cook; brothers, James Louis Cook and Ralph Wayne Cook He is survived by wife, Francine Wester Cook of Provencal, LA; two daughters, Layna Cook of Baton Rouge, LA and Lyne Cook Robinson and husband Joshua of Shreveport, LA; two grandchildren, Landen Robinson and Makenna Robinson; three brothers, Michael Cook, Sr. and wife Pam of Bellwood, LA, Gary Cook and wife Nelda of Provencal, LA, and Charles Cook and wife Pam of Natchitoches, LA; two sisters-in-law, Dixie Cook of Shreveport, LA and Donita Cook of Mansfield, LA Pallbearers will be Michael Cook, Sr., Gary Cook, Charles Cook, Matthew Cook, David Bertrand, Steve Wester, Ray Cook, Joshua Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Danielson, David Fletcher, Bill Zesch, Jim Collins, and Michael Cook, Jr.
