Elva “Jean” Noble Vaughn, age 75, of Kisatchie, LA, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007, at Pilgram Manor Guest Care in Bossier City, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday, December 30, 2007. The funeral service will be at Kisatchie Baptist Church at 10:00 AM Monday, December 31, 2007, with Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Kisatchie Cemetery in Kisatchie, LA. Mrs. “Jean” was a very loving mother and grandmother. She loved crafts, collecting angels, and spending time with her family. She was a Baptist by faith, and loved her Sunday School Class at Trinity Baptist Church. She also enjoyed playing Bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Wendell Vaughn; her parents, John Noble and Hazel Noble; one son, Jimmy Wayne Vaughn; and one brother, Norman Noble. She is survived by three sons, Gary Vaughn and wife Vera of Blanchard, LA, Rev. Larry Vaughn and wife Amy of Kisatchie, LA, and Barry Vaughn and wife Debbie of Register, GA; one daughter, Deborah Kharrubi of Dubai; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law; Sandra Dunaway; and two sisters, Johnnie Buchanan of Garland, TX and Wilda Fuston and husband James of Turkey, TX. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Pilgram Manor Guest Care in Bossier City, LA.
