Funeral service for Tracy McConathy will be held 10 AM Tuesday, January 1, 2008 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Mrs. Pat Barton officiating. Burial will be in Fern Park Cemetery at Natchitoches, LA. Visitation will be Monday, December 31, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 in the funeral home. Ms. McConathy, 47, of Natchitoches, LA, died Saturday, December 29, 2007, in her residence at Natchitoches, LA. She was a native of Natchitoches, LA. She was retired from Atmos Entergy with 26 years of service. She was a loving mother and friend to all. She is survived by her one daughter, Brooke Niette of Natchitoches, LA; three sons, Austin Niette, Cory Niette, and Cody Niette all of Natchitoches, LA; one granddaughter, Addison Teddlie; parents, Arlen McConathy and Jean Thomasee McConathy of Natchitoches, LA; three sisters, Dianne Strother of Ball, LA; Mary Barrios of Olathe, KS, and Wendy Davis of Robeline, LA.; host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Preston Broadwater, Jerry McElwee, Vilfried Metoyer, Craig Rachal, Danny Buras, and Bruce Baker. Honarary pallbearers will be all Atmos Entergy employees.
