Gerald David Rodgers, Sr., 72, an estimator in the paint industry, died Friday, January 11, 2008. The service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 13, at Harvey-Young Funeral Home in Crawfordville, FL. Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
A service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, at Blanchard St.-Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Viewing will be from 2 to 3 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Oak Grove Cemetery at Natchitoches, La.

He has been living in Crawfordville for 18 years, coming from Shreveport, LA. He is a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Wanda Wheeler Rodgers, one son, Gerald David Rodgers, Jr. and wife Linda of Keithville, LA; three daughters; Deborah Rogers McDavid and husband Gene of Natchitoches, LA. Cindy Rodgers Hollyfield and husband Crosby of Mountain View, Ark, and Charlotte Rodgers Barnett of Springhill, FL: Two brothers, William Rodgers and wife Inge of Salem W.Va., and Roland Rodgers and wife Virginia of Natchitoches, LA. One sister; Betty Dove and husband Glenn of Nitchitoches, LA; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
