James Scott

James “Jimmy” Austin Scott, age 64, of Natchitoches, La., passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008, at Christus Schumpert Highland in Shreveport, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. At Mr. James’ wish, there will be no service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Scott and the late Viola Laird Scott; and one brother, Terry Scott. He is also survived by his wife Janice Scott; two sons, James "Scotty" Scott, Jr. and wife Trish of Oakdale, LA and Alex Scott and wife Melissa of Natchitoches, LA; five grandchildren, Destinee Scott, Shania Scott, Reanne Scott, Kyndal Scott, and Jami Scott; one sister, Sue Sklar and husband Louis Sklar Jr. of Natchitoches, LA; one brother, Calvert Scott and wife Adele of Natchitoches, LA; one sister-in-law, Lana Scott of Natchitoches, LA; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and customers. The family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
