Robert "Bobby" Thompson

Funeral service for Robert Thompson will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Robeline First Baptist Church in Robeline, LA with Rev. Brian Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until service time Monday on November 11, 2012 at Robeline First Baptist Chruch. Robert “Bobby” Thompson, 58 years of age, passed away November 09, 2012. Robert was born December 22, 1953 to the late William Thompson and Minnie Free Thompson in Pleasant Hill, LA. Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, but his real passion was fishing. He was light hearted and loved to joke with his friends, a trait that will not be soon forgotten. He was strongwilled, and hard worker, and would help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was survived by his wife, Beverly Graves Thompson, of Marthaville, LA; three daughters, Angi Thompson Crowe of Natchitoches, LA, Kerry Litton Lee of Lena, LA, and Heather Litton of Natchitoches, LA; four sons, Chad Thompson of Marthaville, LA, Shane Litton of Spanish Lake, LA, Kevin Thompson of Natchitoches, LA, and Heath Litton of Provencal, LA; his mother, Minnie Free Thompson of Marthaville, LA; three brothers, Billy Thompson of Shreveport, LA, Delbert "Bert" Thompson of Shreveport, LA, and Clyde Thompson of Provencal, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William Thompson, and two brothers, Jimmy Thompson and Johnny Thompson. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Chad Thompson, Shane Litton, Kevin Thompson, Heath Litton, Joel Taylor, and Tommy "Bubba" Hall, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Bridges and Kenny Simmons.
