Freeman Oneal Holland

A graveside service for Freeman Holland will be 10 am Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Vowells Mill, LA with Bro. James McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm on Monday November 19, 2012 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Holland, 86 years of age, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 in Natchitoches. He was born November 14, 1926 to the late Freeborn Holland and late Nora Bell (Montgomery) Holland in Vowells Mill, LA. He drove a school bus for Natchitoches Parish Schools for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lawanda (Adams) Holland; son, Darryl Oneal Holland; and siblings, Faye Gandy, Roland Holland, Cecil Holland and Virgie Holland. He is survived by his daughter, Jennise Martin of Provencal; grandchildren, Michelle Brundige and her husband Cregg of Provencal, Donnie Martin and his wife Jennifer of Natchitoches, Justin Holland and his wife Michelle of Provencal and Amber Holland of Provencal; great grand-daughters, Kylee Brundige and Ava Grace Holland both of Provencal; siblings, Truman Holland and his wife Yvonne of Natchitoches, George Holland and his wife Norma Jean of Vowells Mill, Claudia Voight of Provencal, Bonnie Byrd and her husband Huey of Hugh Springs, TX and Wilmer Holland of Provencal. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Donnie Martin, Justin Holland, Cregg Brundige, Bryant Gandy, Randy Yopp and Phillip Gandy.
