L.V. Rhymes

Funeral Services for Mr. L.V. Rhymes will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, the 23rd of November 2012 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with Bro. Rod Bedgood to serve as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Yankee Springs Cemetery near Goldonna. Friends are invited to visitation with the family Friday morning beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Rhymes, age 85, passed away on Tuesday the 20th of November 2012 at the Autumn Leaves Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Winnfield surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Pencie Irene Rhymes of Goldonna, his son, Jerry Rhymes and wife Edna of Goldonna; his grandchildren, Christy Davis and husband Dustin, Michele Roberts, Amy LaMartiniere; his great grandchildren, Jace Stewart, Harlee LaMartiniere, Brody LaMartiniere,Kaydence Roberts, and Micah White; his brothers,J.C. Rhymes and Edward Lynn Rhymes. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Frank Gates, James Rorrer, Lenny Blake, Gary Maines, Jimmie Joe Gates, and Greg Fraziar.
