Julia Laverne Allen

A service to honor the life of Julia Laverne Allen will be 11 am Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Red Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery near Greensburg, LA with Richard Bean officiating. Interment will follow next to her husband, Cleon Earl Allen. Mrs. Allen, 85 years of age, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 in Natchitoches. She was born in McComb, MS to Percy and Mabel (Stewart) Bellue on June 3, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings, Willie Mae Wilson, James Bellue and Charles “Pete” Bellue. She is survived by her son, M.E. Reb Allen and his wife Betty of Natchitoches; daughter, Dianne Jackson and her husband Wallace of Greensburg; sisters, Mavourleen Shostall of Nederland, TX, Lanell Brast of Dallas, TX and Peggy Walker of Beaumont, TX. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren, M.E. Allen, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Cheneyville, Mickey Allen and his wife Tomye Sue of Cheneyville, Amanda Fogle and her husband Johnny of Montgomery, Mike Cassel and his wife Stacy of Kentwood and Todd Cassel of Greensburg; 9 great grandchildren, Jonathon, Jared, Will, Katie, Eddie, Bradley, Matt, Ethan and Jacob; 4 great-great grandchildren, Alexis, Collin, Cameron and Weston.
