Sarah Alice (Wheat) Dralle

Sarah Alice Wheat Dralle, age 72, daughter of Kenneth Wheat and Reba Spann Wheat, former residents of Natchitoches, Louisiana, passed away December 10, 2012, in Crossett, Arkansas. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches with Rev. Linda Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Sarah was employed as a cost accountant at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration upon graduation from Northeast Louisiana University. She later transferred to the Boeing Company, from which she later retired. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Dralle; sister Elizabeth Maloney; and brother James Ernest Wheat. Surviving her is her brother, Richard Wheat, his wife, Dorothy, of West Monroe, Louisiana; sister-in-law Jessie Wheat of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; several nieces and nephews, and longtime friend and former co-worker, Julia Scott of Crossett, Arkansas. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, P. O. Box 96011, Washington, D. C. 20090-6011.
