Alberta L. Conlay

Funeral services for Alberta L. Conlay will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, the 14th of December 2012 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with Bro. Truman Leach and Bro. Elton Gunter to officiate. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery in Chestnut. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Mrs. Conlay, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, the 11th of December 2012. She was born on the 16th of March 1945 to Nedas and Lorena LeBlanc. She was a school bus driver for the Natchitoches Parish School Board. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward N. Conlay, Sr. and her parents, Nedas and Lorena LeBlanc. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Linda Austin and husband Thomas of Saline, Edward N. Conlay, Jr. and wife Angela of Black Lake, and Loretta Williams and husband Jimmy of Saline; her grandchildren, Thomas N. Austin, Joseph W. Austin, Ashley M. Jones, Lacy C. Conlay, Aaron L. Conlay, Kinley V. Nelson, Jodie Melacon, Collin Williams, Matthew Williams; her brothers, Wildon LeBlanc and Clement LeBlanc; and a host nieces, nephews and friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Ed Smith, Billy E. Conlay, Nelson Conlay, Jr., Thomas N. Austin, Joseph W. Austin, Aaron Conlay, Collin Williams and Ronald Dale Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Thomas W. Austin, Jimmy Williams and Matthew Williams and Cody Jones.
