Funeral service for Evelyn Miller will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Danny Keyes officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on December 16, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Evelyn Miller, 78 years of age, passed away December 13, 2012 in Alexandria, LA. Evelyn was born January 20, 1934 to the late Charlie Howard and Lilly Howard in Natchitoches, LA. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She made her home in Natchitoches, LA where she raised three children, and enjoyed taking time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of humor and would light up the room wherever she was. She loved entertaining guests at her home, where she also loved to garden and decorate. Evelyn was truly loved by her family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert L. Miller of Natchitoches, LA; her children, Dana Beth Collins and husband Craig of Atlanta, LA and T.L. Miller and wife Sandra Knotts of Natchitoches, LA; three grandchildren, Cacy Collins Morgan and husband Justin of Woodworth, LA, Caity Collins Wilson and husband Mike of Natchitoches, LA and Ami Sparks of Natchitoches, LA; and four great grandchildren, Brett Sparks, Liam Morgan, and Brenyn Wilson, Mike Wilson.
