Funeral Services for Reba S. Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the 26th of December 2012 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with Pastor David Allen to officiate. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Goldonna. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Jackson, age 81, passed away on Sunday, the 23rd of December 2012, at Life Care Hospital Pierremont in Shreveport. She was born on the 20th of December in 1931 to William and Florence Scallion in Natchitoches. She is preceded in death by her husband Reverend Billy Jackson; her parents, William and Florence Scallion; her brothers, Otis Wayne Scallion and Sylvan Scallion; her grandchildren, Keith Kelly and Stephanie Jackson. She is survived by her children, Sammy Jackson and wife Glenda of Bossier City, Lynn Sims and husband Dickie of Natchitoches, Daniel Jackson of Natchitoches, and Patsy Jackson of Natchitoches; her grandchildren, Michelle Sims, Justin Sims, Alisha Dyess, William Kelly and Valerie Jackson; her 8 great grandchildren; her sister, Rita Sue Scallion of Shreveport; and her brother, William Owen Scallion, Jr. of Goldonna.
