Funeral service for Mildred ‘Millie' Freeman Lambert will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, February 9, 2008 in Robeline, First Baptist Church wit Rev. Brian Ray officiating. Burial will be in Robeline Cemetery at Robeline, LA. Visitation will be Friday, February 8, 2008, from 5 PM until 9 PM in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at Natchitoches, LA. Mrs. Lambert, 70, of Noble, LA. and formerly of Robeline, LA, died Saturday, January 26, 2008, in her residence at Noble, LA. She was a native of Miami, FL. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was church secretary for the past 32 years. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Ray Freeman; parents, Monroe Freeman and Ina Mae Hutchins Freeman. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Larry Lambert, Sr. of Noble, LA; two sons, Larry Lambert, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Humble, TX and David Lambert and wife Leigh of Natchitoches, LA; three grandchildren, Bailey Erin Lambert, Tyler Anderson Newell and Kristyn Leigh Newell. She leaves a legacy of hope and happiness to her countless friends who knew her affectionately as 'Miss Millie'. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lambert, Terry Lambert, Dean Lambert, Dale Lambert, George Lambert, and Sherman Doolittle.
