Funeral services for Marjorie Lola Airhart Juneau will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29 in the chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. A wake will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28. Burial will be at Calvary Baptist Church. Bro. Bob Boyt will officiate the services.
Mrs. Juneau, a native of Cloutierville, but who resided the majority of her life in Natchitoches, died December 27, 2012, at 89 years old. She died on the same date as her late husband, Tanzy J. Juneau, just 37 years later. She was born July 1, 1923 to the late Samuel Alexander and Azelia Lavespere Airhart. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters, Viola Roge', Lucille Greenwell, Kitty Walmsley, Doretha Spurgeon; and brothers Ulysses Airhart, Amos "Lou" Airhart, and the father of her children, Oliver Rhodes Lilley.
Mrs. Juneau worked many places in her lifetime, but the majority of her life she worked at Wal-Mart, as a sales associate in fabrics and later as a door greeter, where she retired from in 2007 with 32 years of service. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, but had not been able to attend services in many years due to health issues.
She is survived by a daughter Sandra Moreau and her husband Kirby of Natchitoches, a son Sam Lilley and his wife Wanda of Port Neches, Texas. She is also survived by a sister, Bonnie McGlothin and husband Otis of Gurdon, Arkansas, and brother Daniel Airhart and Wife Evon of Dry Prong, LA. Four grandchildren: David Lilley and his wife Michelle of Schertz, TX; Tammie Moreau Pezant, and her husband Steve of Natchitoches, LA; Michael Lilley and Melissa Hamm of Port Neches, TX, and Sean Moreau and his wife Elizabeth of Sulphur, LA, five greatgrandchildren, Christopher Lilley, Sonja Pezant, Joshua Lilley, Meaghan Moreau, Carson Moreau, and unborn great-granddaughter Kelby Lilley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Lilley, Michael Lilley, Sean Moreau, Steve Pezant, Christopher Lilley, and Ambrose Airhart.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Sonja Pezant, Joshua Lilley, Meaghan Moreau, and Carson Moreau.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
