Kyle Woodel “Bubby”, 17 years of age, passed away January 5, 2013. Kyle was born October 13, 1995 to Bradley Woodel and Kelly LaCour Davis in Shreveport, LA.
Kyle was a gift from God, a gift that gave a new perspective to life itself. He was entirely innocent and pure, and though his care required special attention, he gave more than he took. Kyle filled a special purpose in his family’s lives. He gave silent strength and courage to his parents and caregivers, as well as patience and endurance. He showed those who cared for him the true meaning of life; to love someone as God loves us. Although his life may have been short, the years that he was here were a blessing altogether. He was deeply loved, and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kelly Davis and her husband Clyde of Natchitoches, LA; his father, Brad Woodel and his wife Jessica of Provencal, LA; three siblings, Alanna Woodel, Anna Friday, and Matthew Janét; his maternal grandmother, Marcia Guin of Flora, LA; his paternal grandparents, Sherry and Garland Woodel and Ilene Kay, all of Provencal, LA; three uncles, Jeff Woodel, Landon LaCour, and Jody LaCour; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Buddy Howell, Dustin Howell, Shane O'Bannon, Jody LaCour, Landon LaCour, and Jeff Woodel. Kyle’s siblings will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Legacy Hospice in Natchitoches for all of their loving care and support during Kyle’s time of illness.
