Timothy Steven Sean Graham, 21, of Natchitoches, was born February 13, 1986 in Laramie, WY. He died near Hanna, Louisiana in Red River Parish on February 6, 2008 returning home from work. A funeral service of Christian hope in the resurrection will be held Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 3:00pm at First United Methodist Church in Natchitoches. Officiating is his cousin, the Rev. Mark Cattau, assisted by his father, the Rev. John E. Karle. Visitation will be at Blanchard–St. Denis Funeral Home Saturday, February 9, 2008 from 5-8pm.
An All Star baseball player in Natchitoches Dixie Youth, he was selected MVP of the Texas Baseball All Star Camp and served on the Mayor’s Youth Council. Sean loved sports and played in Natchitoches Central High School football and baseball programs. He drove recently in the Krewe of Dionysus Mardi Gras parade. Sean shared his grandfather’s love for hunting and the outdoors. Baseball, hunting, fishing, mudding, and working the land were his passions. After graduating from NCHS, Sean enrolled in Northwestern State University and worked toward a career in real estate appraisal. A love of life was evident in everything he did.
Sean excelled in his work with Rayburn Smith Cattle Co. and the Red River Livestock Co. Some of his greatest joys were spending time with his family and friends, telling stories, and making people laugh. He loved his truck and stayed with it to the end. By God’s grace Sean was joined to Jesus in the waters of holy baptism as an infant. His Godparents are Uncle Steven Johnson and Jim and Beth Walsh. Friends attest to his genuine depth of character and humble nature that grew from his faith. He was a lifelong member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Natchitoches.
Sean is survived by his parents, John and Jennifer Karle; brothers, Christopher Graham and wife Mindy, and Cameron Karle; sister, Holly Karle and niece, Ava; grandparents, Gloria Johnson and Fred and Karen Karle; uncles and aunts, Jenner and Martha Johnson, Steven Johnson, and Glenn and Michelle Yanagi; cousins, Ava and Jenner Alexander Johnson and Cohen and Claire Yanagi; and birth father, Tim Graham.
