Funeral service for Amanda Marie Hendricks Cater will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in Beulah United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Jennings, Rev. John Foster, and Rev. Richard Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery at Marthaville, La. Visitation will be Monday, February 11, 2008 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 8 AM until 11 AM in the funeral home and 12 Noon until service time in the church. Mrs. Cater, 45, of Marthaville, La., died Saturday, February 9, 2008, in her residence at Marthaville, La. She was a native and lifelong resident of Marthaville, La. She was a former certified nursing assistant. She was preceded in death by her father, C. D. Hendricks; two brothers, Roy Gene Hendricks and Emmett Gene Hendricks. She is survived by her one daughter, Rhetta Leigh Cater of St. Martinville, La.; one son, Roy Chance Welch of Provencal, La.; two adopted sons, Brady Welch of Shreveport, La. and Shadie Welch of Provencal, La. mother, Joyce Durr Hendricks of Marthaville, La.; one brother, Terry Gene Hendricks of Marthaville, La.; nephew, Casey Dean Hendricks and wife Lisa of Natchitoches, La.; one great niece, Ella Chamberlain Hendricks; one great nephew, Benjamin Emmett Hendricks. Pallbearers will be Ricky Smith, Rodney Hendricks, Homer Free, Cody Champagne, Lee Champagne, Pat Dyson, Gary Phelps, Shawn Hall, and Brady Welch.
