Harold Salley

Graveside services for Harold Salley will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Marthaville Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. Interment will follow after the services. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Harold Salley, 73 years of age, passed away January 21, 2013 at the Courtyard of Natchitoches. Harold was born January 23, 1939 in Marthaville, LA. He was a kind and loving man, who enjoyed listening to music, traveling, and spending time with people. He loved his church. He was a charter member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Natchitoches and also attended West Side Baptist in Natchitoches. He served his nation in the U.S. Army. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his one daughter, Lydia Ann Salley of San Marcos, TX; two sisters, Janice Jones of Many, LA and Marian Ammons and husband John of Natchitoches, LA; his nieces and nephews, Jody Robbins and wife Mariesa, Daniel Jones, Don Jones and wife Annabel, and Joy Garcia and husband Raoul; and his great nieces and nephews, Jansen Jones, Belladonna Jones, and Cade Robbins. He was preceded in death by his parents, V.L. and Elsie Salley.
