Funeral service for Floyd O Graves will be held 10 AM Monday, February 18, 2008 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Roger Matkin, officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery near Belmont, LA. Visitation will be 5 PM until 8 PM Sunday, February 17, 2008 and on Monday, February 18, 2008 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home.
Mr. Graves, 60, of Provencal, LA, died Saturday, February 16, 2008, in his residence.
He was a native of Provencal, LA. He was a retired offshore welder. He was a member of Provencal, First Baptist Church, Kisatchie Masonic Lodge F&AM #156 , and Robeline Masonic Lodge F&AM #344. He was a veteran of Viet Nam Conflict serving in the U. S. Army.
He was he was preceded in death by his first wife of 17 years, Barbara Lynn Scarbrough Graves; parents, Vernice L Graves and Fannie Price Graves; one sister, Hazel Graves; five brothers, Raleigh Wayne Graves, Corbitt Graves, Billy Graves, Jimmy Graves, and Fred Graves
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Pat King Graves of Provencal, LA; one son, Danny Graves of Provencal, LA; two step daughters, Janice Bullitt and husband Ronald of Pineville, LA and Kim Faust and husband Brandt of Many, LA; three grandchildren, Kyle Bullitt, Megan Faust, and Autumn Faust; two sisters, Rose Leone of Shreveport, LA and Brenda Rodriguez of Natchitoches, LA; one brother, Charles Graves of Denver, CO.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Wagley, Kenny Turnley, Joey Scarbrough, Buddy King, Dennis Scarbrough, and Randy Broadway.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Kisatchie Masonic Lodge and Robeline Masonic Lodge.
