Donald Long

Funeral Services for Donald Long will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, the 19th of February 2013 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with the Reverend Olan McLaren to serve as celebrant. Burial will follow in Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Long, age 57, of Keithville passed away on Saturday the 16th of February 2013 in Shreveport. He worked at Builder's Supply Company, Inc. as a truck driver. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be dearly missed. One of his greatest joys was riding his Harley Davidson Road King. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Merline Phillips Long; and his brothers, Daryll Luther Long and Ronald Glenn Long. He is survived by his two children, Kimberly Long and John Snead of Coushatta and Jeremy Long of Shreveport; his three grandchildren, James Snead, Kaithlyn Snead, and Karol Warren; two sisters, Edith Gentry and husband Steve and Starlet Simmons; his brother, Randall Long and wife Nancy.
