Funeral services for Juan O. Pablo will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 25, 2013 at North West LA Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA. Juan O. Pablo was born July 11, 1939 to the late Jesus Pablo and the late Emilia Ojeda Pablo. Juan is proceeded in death also by two of his brothers, Jessie Pablo and Antonio Pablo all of Guam. Juan (Sgt. Major Pablo) did his basic training at Schofield Barrack, Hawaii and served twenty-six years in the U.S Army. During his career, he was awarded the following medals: four Bronze Stars w/v Device, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Award, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Gross of Gallantry w/Palm Device, Combat Infantry Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, and Drill Sergeant Badge. After retirement he became a ROTC Instructor at Central High School in East Baton Rouge, later at Natchitoches Central High School, then Woodlawn High School in Shreveport, LA. Later he retired from the Caddo Parish School Board. He leaves to cherish his memory: Bobbie Pablo (wife) of Natchitoches, Tori Pablo-Ratliff (Andre) of Houston TX, Jonathan Pablo of Bossier, LA, Benny Quitugua of Guam, four grandchildren, Tracy Miller (God son) of Bossier, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
