Barbara (Spillman) Brossett

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Barbara (Spillman) Brossett will be 10 am Monday, February 25, 2013 in the chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Sunday, February 24, 2013 in the funeral home chapel. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 pm on Sunday night. Mrs. Brossett, 74 years of age, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 in Natchitoches. She was born September 29, 1938 in Cloutierville, LA to the late Clarence and late Mary Ethel (Derbonne) Spillman. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Doug Brossett. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Frederick “Butch” Brossett and his wife Bonnie of Centerville, LA; grandchildren, David Douglas Brossett and Courtney Rhiannon Brossett.
