Funeral Services for Bernice Beaudoin will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, the 3rd of April 2013 at the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches. Burial will follow in the Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 pm until 9 pm with recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7pm at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.
Ms. Beaudoin, age 80, of Natchitoches passed away on Thursday, the 28th of March 2013 in Shreveport. She was born on the 1st of December 1932 to Joseph and Alice Beaudoin in Melrose. She was a member of the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches and worked as an upholster.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Alice Beaudoin; her brothers, Phillip and Allen Beaudoin; and her sisters, Edwina “Dee” Livingston and Anease Sorgee.
She is survived by her brother, Raymond Beaudoin of Natchitoches; and her sisters, Gladys McFerren and husband Walter of Natchitoches and Maize Williams of Rosepine. She was a loving aunt, great aunt, and great great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be John Morris, Leo Abraham, Jr., Ed McQueen, Matthew Padgett, James Sorgee, and Lucky Kerry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Dobbs.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to many members of the medical community that gave her love and care during her illness.
