Funeral service for Dorothy Jean Lee Brossette will be held 11 AM Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Kurian Zachariah officiating. Burial will be in Emmanuel Cemetery at Chopin, La. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a rosary at 7 PM in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Brossette, 71, of Mora, La., died Sunday, March 16, 2008, in Rapides Regional Medical Center at Alexandria, La. She was a native of Emmanuel Community, La. She was a retired cafeteria manager at Cloutierville High School. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church at Gorum, La. and St. Cyril Catholic Catholic Church at Flatwoods, La. She was preceded in death by two sons, Mark Brossette and Kenneth Brossette; grandchild, Robert Charles Brossette, III; father, Burl Lee and mother, Lillie Carnahan LaCaze She is survived by special friend, Francis Bolton of Mora, La.; one daughter, Teresa Vercher and husband Stephen of Anahuac, Texas; two sons, Joseph Rodney Brossette and Charles Brossette, Jr. both of Cloutierville, La.; sixteen grandchildren, Danielle Bacino, Terah Pelligrin, Kara Brossette, Rayce Brossette, Tiffany Brossette, Mandy Vercher, Brandi Vercher, Corey Vercher, Michael Brossette, Kenneth Brossette, II, Ross Brossette, Tina Brossette, Melissa Brossette, William Wilis, Joseph Lirette, and Evan Willis; five great-grandchildren; godchild, Kenny LaCaze; two brothers, Douglas Lee of Natchitoches, La. and Burl Lee of Campti, La.
