Esther Rogers

Addie Esther S. Rogers, born the 9th of February, 1927, went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, the 31st of March 2013. She was an amazing Mom and Granny to her children and grandchildren and beloved by her family and friends. Her faith in the Lord was strong to the end. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Anderson and husband, Lee; her son, Mark Rogers and wife Gail; grandchildren, Dawn Goehner and husband Darin, Shane Anderson and Shalley Burkholder and husband Trevor, and Justin Rogers; great-grandchildren, Christian and Nathan Goehner, and Braedon Burkholder; her sisters, Pearl Henry and Peggy Angely; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral home in Natchitoches at 11 am on Saturday, the 6th of April 2013. Interment will follow at Marthaville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am Saturday morning until service time at 11:00 am.
