Carolyn Sue Futrell LaCour

Funeral services for Carolyn Futrell LaCour will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Dr. Mike Honzell officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on April 6, 2013 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Carolyn LaCour, 65 years of age, passed away April 04, 2013 at her home in Flora, LA. Carolyn was born to the late Pat Futrell and Velma Dietzel Futrell on February 22, 1948 in Winnfield, LA. She was a loving mother, caring and devoted wife, and wonderful grandmother. She was a great sister, daughter-in-law, and true friend. Carolyn was always dependable, willing to help, and kind. She enjoyed many things, like gardening and raising flowers, but her sons were the light of her life. She did her best to raise her family, and will be truly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by three sons, Patrick LaCour of Flora, LA, John LaCour and his wife Misty of Magnolia, AR, and Jeff LaCour of Broken Arrow, OK; two grandsons, Austin and Eathen Nelson; two sisters, Donna Smith of Pineville, LA and Betty Hutchins of New Orleans, LA; her mother-in-law, Inez LaCour; and one sister-in-law, Sandra Hudson and her husband Mike of West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry LaCour, her parents, Pat Futrell and Velma Dietzel Futrell; and her siblings, Judy Pascall, Mike Futrell, and Paula Collins.
