Bonita Claire Raggio Gongre

A Catholic Vigil Service for Mrs. Bonita Claire Raggio Gongre will be 2 pm Tuesday April 9, 2013 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Travis serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery on Old River. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Monday, April 8th at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 pm on Monday in the funeral home chapel. She was born March 16, 1917 on Old River in Natchitoches Parish. She passed away peacefully at her home in Natchitoches, with her daughters by her side, in the morning of April 7, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Joseph Raggio, Sr. and Lillian Alice Jones Raggio; four brothers; a daughter, Betty Jane Howell; and husbands, D.J. Dunckelman, Jr. and Woodrow Wilson Gongre. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Bonnie Kathryn Dunckelman Cook and Diann Claire Dunckelman Matt; her brother, Cecil Raggio; and her sister, Barbara Queno. She was blessed with seven loving grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
